As a teacher I consider READING the most important skill to improve the acquisition of a new language. I give you some steps to follow:
In Fiction, it says what the story is almost about. In non- fiction, what the author wants me to know about the topic. The first and the last sentence in a test can give you a clue. Here you have a website that can help you improving your reading. Come on, YOU'LL GET MORE LEVEL! http://www.newsinlevels.com/ Vocabulary is central to English language learning because without sufficient vocabulary you cannot understand others or express your own ideas. Think of your vocabulary as your “communication toolbox": every word is a tool, ready to be used at the right time.
Here you have a poster where you have strategies to study the new vocabulary you're learning. ENJOY! |
